• Photos and videos of equipment uploaded for service documentation
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers)
• Account credentials (email and encrypted password) when you register
• Messages, signatures, and notes submitted through the Services

b. Information collected automatically

• Device type, operating system, browser type, and version
• IP address and approximate location (country/region)
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps
• Cookies and similar technologies for authentication and analytics

c. Mobile app permissions

Our mobile app may request the following permissions:

• Camera – to capture photos of equipment for work orders and inventory
• Photos / Storage – to attach existing images to service records
• Location – optional, to record service site location
• Notifications – to alert you about appointments, invoices, and service updates
• Internet – to sync data with our secure servers

You may revoke any permission at any time in your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve refrigeration services
• Schedule appointments and dispatch technicians
• Generate estimates, work orders, and invoices
• Process payments and prevent fraud
• Communicate with you (service updates, reminders, customer support)
• Send push notifications for important account activity
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
• Analyze usage to improve features and security

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate (e.g., Supabase for hosting and database, Stripe for payments, push notification providers)
• Our technicians and authorized staff assigned to your service
• Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety
• Business successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Service records (work orders, invoices) may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and warranty purposes. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted database storage, role-based access controls, and Row-Level Security on all customer data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Disable push notifications and revoke app permissions

9. International Users

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.
