The system detects a battery voltage exceeding 15.5V DC.

Possible causes

Defective alternator regulator
Corroded voltage sensor cables
Damaged internal microprocessor battery
Inappropriate external charger use

Recommended actions

Measure voltage with external multimeter
Replace alternator regulator
Clean battery terminals
Reset APX controller
