The engine does not shut down when the controller sends the signal.

Possible causes

Stuck stop solenoid
Failed stop relay (welded)
Excess oil vapors
Signal wiring shorted to positive

Recommended actions

Close manual fuel shutoff
Check engine stop lever
Test stop relay
Inspect fuel solenoid
