Defrost termination sensor 1 detects an out-of-range or open circuit condition.

Possible causes

Defective defrost sensor
Corroded or loose sensor connection
Wiring harness failure to the microprocessor

Recommended actions

Measure DTS1 sensor resistance
Clean contacts and tighten connectors
Replace sensor if reading does not match the temperature table
