The exterior ambient temperature sensor presents a reading failure.

Possible causes

Ambient sensor disconnected or damaged
Direct exposure to external heat sources
Failure in the external wiring harness

Recommended actions

Locate and clean the ambient sensor
Verify wiring is not rubbing against the chassis
Test sensor with a multimeter on Ohms scale
