The system does not detect the engine rotation signal (RPM).

Possible causes

  • Dirty or misadjusted RPM sensor (magnetic pick-up)
  • Oxidation layer on flywheel teeth
  • Damaged sensor wiring

Recommended actions

  • Clean the tip of the magnetic sensor
  • Adjust air gap between the sensor and flywheel
  • Verify connections on the SMX board or control module
