Lost CAN Communications to Expansion Module

Loss of communication between the main controller and the expansion module.

Possible causes

CAN bus wires (H and L) damaged or cut
Power failure to the expansion module
Excessive electromagnetic interference

Recommended actions

Verify integrity of the CAN wire harness
Measure supply voltages to the expansion module
Check for 60 ohm termination resistance on the CAN bus
